how many ounce of IPA can we drink on IPAday?

IPA Day - http://ipaday.org/announcing-ipa-day/ - not that I need a reason to drink IPAs but I may have to indulge in more than one today after work in tribute to what is my favourite style. I'm going to pick up a bottle of Driftwood's Fat Tug, Phillips Amnesiac IPA, and maybe a bottle of Sierra...

    .....and so it begins....

The Dream - To have beer on tap at home I've begun the process of making a kegerator, which to some of you may seem like no big deal. To me though this is going to be a major accomplishment....lol. I'm not exactly what you'd call handy, and up until just a few short years ago had never...

    Welcoming myself back...heh

It was a pretty good weekend, I was on call for work so figured since I had to stay close to home anyways, might as well make the best of it. Now, I just need to figure out what to make next, and pick up two more kegs. That way I can have two on tap and one ageing/conditioning.

    anyone use brewhouse?

Just cracked the first IPA this weekend that I "hacked" according to the recipe I posted earlier in the thread. They've only been bottled for a week now and are a little green still but it was really good. Nice and hoppy, just the way I like it.

    Flat Beer, help!

Just a little follow-up in case anyone else has this problem, and is curious about the solution. I bought a package of Cooper's Carb Drops and added one to each bottle, then recapped them. It's been 3 weeks now and the beer is perfectly carbed. The carb drops did just what I needed them to...

My First 4 Attempts at Beer Labels

LOL! I'm afraid BoyScouts do use that kind of language, though it contravenes a part of the Scout Law. Actually, it's kind of an inside joke. I had a friend over who has the worst taste in beer imaginable (think Molson Canadian which is his favourite, followed by Kokanee a close 2nd). I...

15,673 + 5 = 15,678 5 gallons more of Ed's Apfelwine, no changes to Ed's recipe. PS: Had some time so I created a quick label to go with my bottles.

Seal/Label Generator - An Easy Way to Make Labels

I've been using this to create labels - http://www.beersmith.com/BEER_LABEL.doc It's a pretty simplistic label, which is just fine for me but what I like is that I can separate it into it's component parts, mix and match them anyway I like and them slap it back together to get a label for my...
