A couple questions about heating a fermentation chamber

True. I just hate Radioshack and can't think of anything else I would ever use it on.

A couple questions about heating a fermentation chamber

I have 2 STC1000 units on their way from Amazon (1 for freezer and 1 for minifridge kegerator). I have a $90 giftcard to RadioShack and was thinking of buying this as my heat source... any thoughts? I live in Denver and the freezer will be in the garage, kegerator in the basement...

    Pumpkin Spiced Ale

Bottled my pumpkin today. Ended up adding 3tbsp vanilla, .5 tsp cinnamon (+2 sticks added in secondary) and 4oz of brown sugar to prime. Everything went great but I was a freaking idiot and added ground cinnamon which I failed to realize would not dissolve into the brew. The result was a lot of...

    Forgot to measure the carboy

I am bottling my Pumpkin Ale this weekend. I transferred it 2 weeks ago to a secondary glass carboy which I recently purchased. Problem is, I was too excited and forgot to measure out and mark the volume on the side of the carboy. So, now that I am bottling, how am I going to make sure I use...

    Adding spices to secondary???

I added 1 Tbsp to my secondary with 5 gallons. I am going to taste it again at bottling and add it in small amounts, if necessary, until it is just right.

    another carbing and patience thread

Here is a picture of my MWS amber ale kit. I bottled it 6 days ago and had to try one tonight... was a little disappointed with the lack of head and carbonation. I hope it improves in another few weeks or so.

Which Colorado Brew Tours would YOU pick!?

Hey guys, My fiancee bought me a GroupOn deal a while back which I am super excited for. We are picked up from our house, get to pick 5 breweries to visit over the span of 12-8pm on any saturday of our choosing. We spend anywhere from 45-90 minutes at each brewery, before being taken to the...

    Adding spices to secondary???

I plan on bottling my pumpkin ale. Before I racked to secondary last week I added 2 cinnamon sticks (after being soaked in a little vodka) and 1 Tbsp of vanilla extract.
