[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Reinstalled once again. Everything is persisting this time. Also finally got my motion sensor hooked up and working well, though I haven't been able to dial it back to less than 10 feet sensitivity. I can live with that though. Used day trippers suggestion of pi clone and it worked great. I...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Yeah, apparently hard enters and tabs and that sort of character breaks it. I believe it was pointed out a little after version 2.01 was released

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

That's the weird part. The tables for the beers, taps and kegs all appear to clear at a shutdown or restart command. It's like it runs fine, adds info but does not commit and save the tables. /var/lib/mysql/ is empty. I even tried restoring from the backup image I made after setting...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Ok weird question. In all the times I have set up rpints, I have never had this problem. Accidentally jostled the power cable today and upon it rebooting, none of my kegs, beers or taps remained. Any clue which step I skipped or did I accidentally flip the write protect on the SD card?

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Sweet thanks. I figure it may be a nice alternative to have ready to go versions of the project available. I am just not sure how different the settings would be for different models of pi.

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Just rebuilt my system. Again. With Wheezy and it went smoothly. If I can figure out a way I will do it one more time and make an image file that others can use as a starting point. Anyone know of a site that will hold an image file for a while even if people don't download it for a bit? Also...

A friendly place for friends who drink

Is that actual Guinness or do you just have an excellent stout and a nitrous setup that I should be envious of?

This thread? Yeah that would be an achievement. Back with the old regime this thread would rarely go an hour without a post. I managed to make it go over a day. That can still be an accomplishment.

Creating an NA (Or...how I neutered my beer)

Holy necropost batman. Actually the most home-brewed friendly way of measuring alcohol would be just measuring the specific gravity again after the process of de-alchoholizing. Not trying to be a jerk, but you know we can say the word alcohol here right?

I like this time at night on HBT

Been a while since I stopped in. Thought I would catch up. Hang in there Dan. Having the brother step up for him can be good news. Having a good credit score can be a thing of pride and he should make sure payments are made on time. Credit is one of the contributing factors of me renting out my...

What are you doing instead of brewing this weekend?

Roasting up a 120 lb pig. Set up the 75 foot slip n slide. Gonna be a good if not hot day.

    Who's smoking meat this weekend?

Remove the skin, trim the fat down to less than 1/4. You got a picnic shoulder. They make good BBQ. I usually push my butts over 200. Basically since you have one that's bone in cook it til 190+ and pull it when the bone releases itself with a gentle twist. BBQ is fickle in that way. It's done...

Things about your co-workers that annoy you

I find that disabled people do not want to be coddled and treated like they are fragile. As such I will treat them exactly as I will those who are 'normal'. You would be amazed how often you will be thanked for treating them like a person over a charity case. Then again there are also those who...

I have been there. Remember to not step on the dirt. You can get fined for stepping on the living dirt crust or some such.
