    Who's smoking meat this weekend?

I have a Weber Smokey Mountain. I would like to/may upgrade to a komodo smoker eventually, but pairing the WSM with a temp controller allows for simple smokes with minimal fuss.

    Who's smoking meat this weekend?

Smoked up two chickens at 250. At 140 meat temp attempted to boost the smoker to 450 to crisp up the skin. Undortunately was defeated by the ramp function of my digique but it got above 300. I dried the skin and lightly salted it before throwing them on the smoker. Skin was tasty and was...

    Who's smoking meat this weekend?

Cook it in the smoker like you would in the oven. I do whole chickens (split in half) at 350 or so and crank it up a little at the end for extra good measure. Do not use your water pan if you have one. Also a more salt focused rub on the skin will draw some of the moisture out of the skin and...

    Scrub Master 3000 Version 2.0

Turn down the pressure on the return if its tipping away from it. Otherwise, what are you using to support your kegs/carboys/what not that you are cleaning?

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

Thinking back to wheezy... Did you reboot after installing python? And in the original instructions around that part there is a command with a pipe (vertical bar) in it that is actually separating two different commands. Make sure those are separate.

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

I have only worked with the alamode board but i suspect uploading to the uno is similar. You just have to be sure to choose the proper connection. Instead of serial it would be whatever the uno is.

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

I went for iceweasel because without making changes to use the wheezy repository it was not available on Jessie. If i recall correctly, the autorun in full screen mode didnt work like it did with chromium. Though manually setting it to be in fullscreen mode worked for me. All looked good and...

[Version 2 Release] RaspberryPints - Digital Taplist Solution

If it helps, i still have a share with everything i used to get my rpi working with jessie (including the image of jessie and my translation of the install directions). I make no warranty on how it will work now though. Here it is if you all want it...

It may be due to them being horizontal. Its always worth trying the simple fixes before getting overly technical.

Where are your flow meters located again and how are they orientated? Mine are about a foot from the quick disconnect, and I have them going down the side of the keg before heading up towards the taps. I havent had any ghost pours since doing that. Also, A while back I promised I would...

    Who's smoking meat this weekend?

Good. Glad im not completely disgusting then. What do you do if the smoker starts growing hair? I tend to make it real hot and sorta sterilize it that way.

    Who's smoking meat this weekend?

Weird question but figure it might benefit others too. How often do you clean clean your smoker, how thoroughly do you do it, and how do you do it? I will admit I have been a bit lax with mine. I scrape out the inside when it has sat too lomg and gotten gross inside and follow with a hot burn...
