Red or a Pale could even do a hoppy pils/steam beer. That's what I'd do. Hoppy steam beer maybe using pacific jade or citra hops.

They last far longer than that. I suppose if you get crappy seals sure. But mine last probably a dozen of more Brews. I change mine out once a year.
