4 Months in primary = success

It may just be the tolerance of a Wheat beer. I brewed an American Wheat two weeks ago and after two days in the keg, I sampled it.....it tasted great. The next night me and a couple friends drained the keg dry. So 16 days from brew day and the beer was good. Of course this is a rare event, I...

Three Tier copy of Mullerbrau's design. Older photo, I have welded fittings on my keggles now. If anyone is within traveling distance of Huntsville, AL I know a welder that will weld the fittings on. http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/WK5ftZeXwG0nIHaX5_BZuA?feat=directlink

    3 Tier Gravity Brew Stand

Check out this guys design: all grain I am using his specs but buying the steel at a local steel supplier, they sell the angle iron for 20 bucks per 12ft piece. A whole lot cheaper than going to Home Depot or Lowes.

I own one, bought it for full boil brewing. It usually cools down to <80 deg in 20 minutes. I went with the stainless because I thought it would hold up better that copper over the long run, that and the copper one was just as much. Since buying it though, I have switched to all grain and now...

    Sparge/Vorlauf/Tanin extraction question

Good to know. I noticed a little bit of whacky flavor, but then again the beer was only brewed a little over three weeks ago ( one week in the keg), I need a little more patience before I jump to conclusions. Thanks

    Sparge/Vorlauf/Tanin extraction question

During my first all grain brew, I noticed that the first/second runnings never really ran clear, meaning, I could still see little grain particles coming through, but never noticed any big bits of grain. My main question is, what is the nominal amount of slits or holes in a CPVC or Copper mash...
