Can't find a solution to this problem. The BrewPi script keeps turning off an on every 5 seconds. Just keeps repeating the off and on cycle. Any ideas?

I filled it up 1/2-3/4, no packing them in just loose. They expand just slightly and when they catch hops or hot break it will get packed quickly. I still have had success with using it as a hop back.

I'm hoping for a larger version. I use mine mainly as a pre-filter before going through the plate chiller using rice hulls. I brew 10-15 gallon batches so I couldn't see if I was getting the "hop back" aroma benefit.

I went full balls on my first test, Pliny Clone. I used 7 oz. pellet placed in a hop screen device, and my kettle also has a hop screen on the outlet port. When I flushed the therminator I didn't seen any gunk backflush so I think I just over stuffed it with 2oz and the expansion blocked it up.

The larger size sounds perfect for my 10-20 gallon setup, can't wait. I know conical-fermenter.com sells some for my size but I like your idea of an additional filter.
