I love how this thread just keeps on growing. I make this recipe on a regular basis. My family loves it as a sweetish table wine. Its good stuff.

I don't see a realy good reason you couldn't. Just be careful about head space and make sure it can release the co2, otherwise that bottle will go boom.

I just started two separate 1 gallon batches of this one all grape and one blueberry... I used red start montcharet in the grape and lalvin k111c I. The other. I had everything in the shelf pectic enzyme, tannin, acid blend, sorbate, and Camden tabs... Everything except yeast nutrient...

So any suggestions for a good extract kit, I already have the caribou slobber, and I am already looking ahead to a good summer time drink. Any suggestions?

Mmm, im getting thirsty already! This week end I am getting married, sooo my brewing time has run out until the 14th or so. But my first extract kit has arrived from NB, and im excited. The instructions say 7 weeks... Is that accurate? Should I leave it a bit longer?

I was coming from a pure taste view point, not an alcohol content. I dont really drink to get drunk. I like to drink beer, because I generally like beer. I think I am going to keep using the coopers drops. They worked just fine the first time around and they were just fine.

I do not know of any Home Brew stores near me, but I would love any links to good online dealers. Also, I do plan on eventually moving into extracts. I just havent got there yet.
