the tube was 1 and 1/4 big so its big enough will this effect my beer other then losing a few bottles of it

So i put a a blow off hose on it last night and forgot to check it this morning. Well my wife called me and told me it flew off and 1/4 of my beer is now on the floor. What should I do.

I never fully achieved a boil I should of mentioned that I did not have enough time. And I have 2 books one saying i only needed 45 minutes for the hops but I now know 60 is needed

I did my first batch today and did not give myself enough time before work. I added the malt and hops before the water was at a boil. What will this do to the beer?
