Holy crap. That is a thing of beauty! Forgive the uninformed, but what are the blue items? How long is a brew day from start to clean for you? How many brew sessions would you get out of a propane tank? It's so... shiny.

This thread is long dead, but I had hoped to poke it with a stick anyways. Did you ever get your efficiency up? Was it due to poor grain crush?

I'd love a carboy cleaner because I live with a microbiologist who tells me every day about the microorganisms I'm probably not getting out, and how they are going to one day ruin my perfect beer with infection. I can't swing the damn things around enough to shut her up!

OK, trying another tact here. Moly is indeed rubbing off...but is it safe? Moly is actually used in 316 SS, to the tune of about 2%. This reduces corrosion and 316 is of course, food safe. It seems that Parker used a Moly Lubricant on these nuts, but I didn't think to ask how much. The...
