thanks for the quick reply. Have you tried any of the other yeast mentioned? should I just start with the original? I was not super impressed by my first batch of beer and would really like to make something good.

I have used the American Light Lager for my first batch, which is in bottles now. I tried 2 after a week of aging and it's drinkable, but not great. I wanted to make something like typical American light (or lite) beer. I hope it gets better.
I am also interested in a Stronbow clone. I want to brew a few batches of beer first and get used to the process. Please let me know how each of those recipes turn out.
I found this site at work last night. I am Kevin, 29, from Hurricane, WV. Living in Albuquerque, NM. I have my first batch fermenting, and will probably bottle this weekend.
