How do you move water around from one vessel to another if you are doing a 10 or a 20 G batch?

I'm with the pump crowd, I've got several, and back ups for all of them, not only are they labor savers, the can bail you out of a frustrating brew day.

    Frustration with my GasOne kettle

I have the same unit, I brewed about a dozen brews before going to the electric brewzilla, I always used the false bottom, and after unclogging the bazooka tube twice, with hop.matter I ditched it, I did not brew in the bag, and used a traditional 3 vessel set up, as long as I had a good...

    Thoughts on this blow-off setup

Stainless has its place, anything that lives in wort or beer needs to / should be stainless, but stainless pipe fittings can be tempermental, they also gall and dont easily seal all the time, especially if you get imported fittings. , for something this simple and outside, that will need to...

    Thoughts on this blow-off setup

I like this concept, beats sticking a tube in a bottle of vodka.. I'm going to build me one that will handle 3 fermenters tomorrow.

    So who's brewing this weekend?

Everything is staged for tomorrow's brew of a BJCP 22C wood aged beer, key to this one is the Burbon and charred oak cube tincture added to secondary, then aging it like a larger.

    Making Mill table thoughts

I've never used a drill on mine, but use and own a plethora of cordless drills of several makes, every day IMHO, the noise level will be the same, that wonderful crunching sound of grain getting ready to give up the goods.

    Don't Do That.

Here is the offending bag, everything wrinkled was in the rollers (set @.040) it's a monster mill 3 G , set to 175 rpm no.load it will crush a full hopper @ 172 or so, I had filled it and was putting the last lb. . Of grain or so in the hopper after it made room.. .

    Don't Do That.

Not of the "crime" but I'm sure I can fish the bag out of the trash and take a picture, it's pretty munched, I had to scoop all the grain out and move it by hand as I pulled the bag..
