    Brewhemoth conicals?

It is sitting in my fermentation area now. After 12 1/2 hour day yesterday, what might be a ten hour day today, it might be Saturday before any fermentation occurs. But it will be tested soon.

Oops I cut holes too big on keggle!

An 1/8 inch gap is not hard to fill and clean up. Take it too a good tig welder.

    Brewhemoth conicals?

So far, cleaning has not been an issue. A brief PBW soak, good rinsing, followed by Star San, I mix up 5 gallons, shake it around good several times over the time it takes to chill my beer, transfer this over to a corny for future use and fill. Have yet to have an issue.

    Brewhemoth conicals?

We priced out a 3 barrel fermenter for a potential customer, but apperently the pricing was too high as we never heard back. If you have an interest, email us your requirements and we will get back to you.

    Brewhemoth conicals?

The Brewhemoth with the external chilling coils will be an entity unto itself. The attachment of the legs is different to allow for the coils, hence it will not be possible to sell a kit. That is why the internal coil device was made.

    Brewhemoth conicals?

The internal temp control worked. Using 34 degree water, pumped at 20 gallons an hour, I kept the wort 25 degrees below ambient. The major difficulty was keeping the chilling water cold. Currently I am working on a glycol chiller, its complete minus a thermostat. This will keep 10 gallons of a...

    Downsides of a Penrose Kettle?

Sorry about that......we are very busy, and doing everything we can to catch up and ship. I have also tried very hard to answer everyones emails as best I can. Apperently I missed one. A couple weeks back we realized that we were way behind. Rather than collect peoples money and sit on it till...

    Brewhemoth conicals?

When we did the water chilling test, I placed 9 gallons of water in a Brehemoth, The coils were 2 inches obove the water line, which in a ten gallon batch, will leave one loop out of the water. Will do a real beer test this weekend, which will have me doing a ten gallon batch (closer to 11...

    Brewhemoth conicals?

We tested out the Brewhemoth under pressure today. It held over 150 psi. One can easily carbonate in this. Check out our Face Book page for photos of the test.

    Brewhemoth conicals?

No garage brewing for me, my brew area is in the ex-family room, see my Blog ( http://penrosepicobrewery.blogspot.com/ ) for pictures of it. Right now I can ferment ales in the upper 60 degree range, about 15 degrees too warm for a lager. We will see how the test goes. I'm confident it will...

    Brewhemoth conicals?

That is the general idea for the add on unit. (By the way, I'm the other half of the Brewhemoth team). I wish I could be testing this right away, but with making a lager, there are many delays, the least of which is gathering materials. A dedicated ale man like myself does not keep many lager...
