i use a mill like that brewed a stout this morning and i hit 81% efficacy with it. they work but your arm gets tired fast. defiantly look in to a motor for it most use a drill. im looking for a geared motor for mine right now.

my SO loves beer tried to teach her once. but she lost interest when the water was heating up for the mash. she just wants the end result. i asked her last night if i could build a brew stand the response was " as long as it dosent max the credit card or drain the bank account go for it...

ok after 4 days of reading and going through all 235 pages.. i need to build a stand. and i have pulled some great ideas from this thread. ill post some pics when im done building it. now time to convince the wife. thats the hard part.

my main concern would be the wood hasn't been cured. im just wondering the effects of the wood still being wet would have. it may not have any. most people from what ive read leave the wood naked .. you can use a food safe oil on it if you want but it may affect the beers head retention...

just purchased 2 of them no more lifting a 80 qt ss pot around! my back already loves me more.

i was thinking the same thing 20 gallon would be the largest size i would go with i have a 10 gallon cooler right now. but doing a 11% beer im up at 9.22 gallons for a 5 gallon batch its getting kinda tight. i have to see if the wife will let me have a new toy. it may even be cheaper...

helibrewer love that idea of 3 chambers. hmmm i still haven't deiced on how im going to build it.. guess i better do that and look at what would best fit my setup. thanks
