As a sidenote, I don't drink to just get drunk, hell I rarely drink more than 2-3 beers at once. I legitimately enjoy the taste of a good beer. If a beer isn't enjoyable to drink, I don't drink it. It's not about getting or maintaining a buzz, its about enjoying every sip.

I generally bring a 12 pack or growler to any party I go to, its of course welcome to all, but I drink on it too.

I don't really see what that has to do with my post. I haven't bashed BMC, I never did, all I said was that their attempts at masking their big names were weak and it comes through in the finished product. I would honestly love to Anheiser Busch make beers of all sorts, with their label on it...

Extract beers have a tendency to come out darker. It shouldn't effect flavor too much.

I remember my first attempt with grains. I was like is it really this easy? Yes it is, with proper knowledge/preparation.

I had efficiency problems due to crush from my lhbs. Picked up a cheap corona and found out about rice hulls. It helped immensely.

I don't think its elitism at all, to me there's something that the big brewing companies dont get about craft beer. Every one of their purchasing/re-labeling attempts at entering the market become obvious at first sip... Well, to me at least. If you don't feel that way, that's fine, I am not...

That's my point, I don't spend much money on beer to begin with, and most BMC I drank begrudgingly at best, before I started brewing and drinking craft beer. So when I do drink it and buy it, it should be worth it.

Of course I would not refuse a friendly gesture. Most of my friends don't share my passion for beer, but do enjoy trying my brew and talking to me about it. I'm not above drinking it at all, just feel like its a waste to spend money on it.

I would take that challenge any day of the week. I may be atypical, but I have never liked Budweiser. Last time I had it was at a bar in the country. When I asked what beers they had. They said "both"

For the quality of food. Yes! Last time I went to BK the SWMBO and I got 2 whopper combos large and it was 18$... For fast food... That's ridiculous! Mind you I am a cheap Bastard...

I really don't see how I am snobby for wanting quality...
