Florida Complete Ball-lock Corny Picnic Set-up

This includes one used, in good working order 5-gallon ball-lock corny, used 2 gauge regulator, 5lb aluminum co2 tank, gas and beverage couplers, a picnic tap and necessary hosing. This is a good opportunity to get a good deal on a complete kegging set-up. All this stuff is in very good...

    Belma Hops

As a change of pace I used to to bitter and flavor a Foreign Extra Stout, I know call me crazy... Tasted pretty damn good, well enough to win last months interclub competition. Kinda gave it a kid playing in the grass kind of back note... I didn't go big on it, with .25 @ 60, 30, and .5 @ 10. I...

Cigar City - Hunahpu day 2013

About the social aspect I spent the whole time there waiting in one line or another, which in part was my own fault, but still pretty bad, so aside from conversation with people around me in line, was non-existent. The homebrew groups were awesome and the 4 I sampled (when my line went by) were...

Cigar City - Hunahpu day 2013

More space, toilets and taps, there was some extremely bad tap lines that were made worse from people cutting in line. Also a limit at the taps, it sucks, but would drastically cut down on lines and people getting one of every beer at once

    Controlling your Temperature

As crazy as it sounds, I have been there. Just take it easy, and enjoy the beer. My suggestion is to read about going all grain and pick up "Designing Great Beers" by Ray Daniels. The book teaches about recipe formulation and explains temp control and many other factors in brewing that effect...

    Fermentation too hot!!!!!

That's surprising its still going strong after 3 days @ that temp, I ferment @ 70 using us-05 all the time with no major issues, just depends on the yeast.

    New Activity???

What type of ale and what yeast did you use, most likely this is nothing to worry about. If there are no funky aromas, I wouldn't worry too much about it. There are lots of pics of possible infections on the forum, if you are seriously concerned.

No yeast packet in brew kit! AKA typical newb panic

As long as your sanitation was thorough, you should be alright. Just get some us-05 as soon as possible, make a small starter, pull your fermenter out of the fridge, wait for the temp to get up to the 60s then pitch.
