    Root Beer Recipe

Has anyone thought of using lactose for a little creamier feel? I know great fermintations in Indy had a orange ice cream creams ale that they used that for? Trying to recipe in the next couple weeks.

You have a link to this for sale online somewhere I can look at. Have two buddies in DC trying to start a brewery I could send it their way.

Minnesota 10 gallon Mash tun with recirculation line

I going to PM you my number so we can talk, I would take it there and see what kind of price it would be. I'm really interested if we can make it happen. I know you may be able to get a set rate box or something.

Best Bang for your buck HERMS build!

Oh nice okay I may look into picking them up. Didn't want to spend the big money on kettles but if they work well, that's all that matters

Recirculating valve into a Igloo Water Cooler Mashtun

That looks good. What's that black stuff called? Haven't been able to find it. Does that leak air or anything when not connected to the hose?

Best Bang for your buck HERMS build!

How far have we got on this? Extremely interested. Those pots, have you used any of them before? Are they kinda heavy duty? That's a pretty good price when you can basically build everything yourself.

Recirculating valve into a Igloo Water Cooler Mashtun

Oh wait, so are you saying, create a connection that I can pop on and off for the sparge arms and the recirc hose, so I use the hose, disconnect, and then connect the sparge arm? That could be the most brilliant idea. That could save me a lot of time too.

And obviously the SS threaded piece going through the cooler will need to be longer than the piece in this setup.

Recirculating valve into a Igloo Water Cooler Mashtun

My idea is to build it just like this, but once inside the cooler, hook it to a 3 way SS valve that will have one side connect to the hose for recirculating and the other side hooked to my custom sparge arms.

Recirculating valve into a Igloo Water Cooler Mashtun

I'm preparing to buy myself the 10 gallon igloo mash tun with the SS false bottom. I want to recirculate and sparge with it. As I've been helping a buddy build his electric brewery, I was wondering if anyone has ever drilled into the side near the top of the cooler and installed a ball valve and...

    NorthMoon Tailgater

Also, I know those taps aren't perlicks but I bought them off a guy on Craigslist to get my kegging started and have since which the kegerator to perlicks and had these sitting around. This way I don't have to tear them down to use either one.

    NorthMoon Tailgater

So guys, I took BierMuncher's idea on a rolling kegerator and made my own as well. If you haven't seen his please go check it out. Being from Indiana, my girlfriend goes to Ball State, her Brother's are at IU and Purdue, and her aunt works for Michigan Unviersity so we needed a way to get my...

    NorthMoon Finally Builds His Keezer

Ran into some issues with the cord for the light not having enough slack for my collar so the collar got put on hold for now. Got all 3 kegs inside, 2 carbing one on the tap inside the freezer. I'm using a older Johnson temp controller but I'm about to switch to the STC 1000 and build a box for it.
