When I first started brewing I used bleach and rinsed well. At some point I picked up some PBW, not realizing that it is not a sanitizer. I brewed a bunch of batches with only using PBW to ‘sanitize’. Never noticed an issue. Ultimately I realized what I was doing and switched to star-San.

They are the 650 Flowcontrol series. (not the 650SS).They are chrome plated brass. Tried to look online for a model number but all I see is the SS version. They must have stopped making these in the chrome plated brass. Price is negotiable.

Well I’m confused.... I have a couple of intertap faucets I bought from Atlantic Brew Supply in Raleigh a year of or two ago. No idea if they are real or not. I would think so since I bought from large, established LBSH. But now I’m not so sure. In any case they work great.

Agreed. Used to drink while brewing and that is a recipe for disaster. Now I generally on Sunday morning and I will wait until the boil is done before having the first beer. Much safer.
