    Can you age without bottling?

I'm on my third and fourth batch of mead... and had a bottle bomb on batch two... so i'm a bit skittish even though I'm fairly certain the fermentation is complete (it's been like 6 months - I left home for a while and came back). I'm curious if there is any way for the mead to age well...

    malting barley.

Can anyone point me somewhere on the process for malting barley? I don't have any idea what it actually means. But we live somewhere where barley is plentiful. But the already malted variety is expensive and difficult to find. We just finished batch 2 all grain. And I'd love to have even more...

    howdy from asia

Hi folk, I live in the far east. Just joined. Been brewing mead for a couple of months. Saturday we start our first batch of beer... all grain. No homebrew shops around here. Pretty stoked about it. Brewing is in the family. My grandpa, his father, his father, etc... all wine brewers...
