    Selling homebrew through local pub

I live in south Dakota and recently a friends father-in-law bought a local bar and put him in charge of the place. He said he would be totally up for selling me and my buddy's beer, so I looked into it. My buddy and I would have to get a manufacturing license and a distribution license. Which...

What I did for beer today

Over the last week we moved into our new house, which was pretty easy considering it's across the street. The best part is that I now have a Cellaring area and a huge shop on the back of the garage for all my brewing gear...I think it's about time I upgrade to AG!! The shop is insulated...

Funny things you've overheard about beer

I stopped at a gas station tonight on my way back to my hotel to get some beer. I've been told this place has the best beer selection in town, and I will say, their selection is very wide. They still have spring seasonals...mmmm, yummy. Anyway, I got a sixer of New Belgium Snowday, and when...

Funny things you've overheard about beer

Raspberry chocolate stout - too much raspberry or chocolate?

I like to use wlp 007, but that's just my preference. I'm curious to see what others have to say about how to do the raspberry. I just bought a house with a TON of established raspberry bushes. How much to use and what method.

    NB Brickwarmer Holiday Red Ale

I brewed this on December 1st, in the secondary still...dry hopped with some zythos. Gonna bottle it up next week. I used white labs 007 dry English yeast and it definitely needed that blowoff hose

It's not like I haven't done research. I found the Railyard Brewery (quite fitting since I'm a railroader) and Montgomery brewing company. Anything I'm missing?

What I did for beer today

My wife texted me a picture of my carboy with a caption that says "It exploded! Call me!!" (I'm in Montana for work for at least 2 months) I used wlp007 and thought this might happen, so I put it in the back bathroom shower stall...unfortunately, I wasn't bright enough to put a blow off hose...
