    Priming a March with an 'autovent'

    This is a steel 1" nut. If I attached the ground to this, then theaded the element into this, then into the rims tube, would this work as solid ground? Just want to be safe

    Mine was 1.5" x 6" 304 SS nipple. Just ordered it last week. Give them a call, I did about a few things, seems the online count doesn't always match what they have. The length depends on your element size, too keep that in mind. Some people are using really long ones, mines only about 5"...

    I just bout the same element. I can't tell which post is HOT or Neutral? And how did you ground it? there isn't a ground post either....Thanks!

    The element I got from Lowes. There are NO "+" or "-" markings, and only two posts, so i'm a little confused on how to ground it.

    Hey trying to figure out on my element where hot & neutral go. Are they interchangeable? Is it possible to use a chord like this wired to the element, then plugged into a receptacle in my control box? How would I wire the green wire (ground)? Thanks f

    +1 I contacted them a couple of weeks ago about purchasing a Chugger from them. They told me the best they could do was to throw in a stainless chugger head for free if I bought a March 809 from them. So I did! Gotta say that was totally awesome of them. Orderd it late wednesday night, got it...

    Well, I got mine (the pieces) from Murray's Equipment. http://www.murrayequipment.com/dyncat.asp?Group=Pipe%20Fittings%20-%20304%20Stainless%20Steel%20Threaded I also ordered a bunch of other 1/2" fittings, as they were WAY cheaper than ordering each piece from most brew vendors.
