Hammer time! Usually I prefer smaller ring gauges but this blend works well at 54rg. Tried the crown cut tonight to see if it's just a gimmick and I think there is some significant airflow happening here
I just made a small order of 8lbs, 3 different varieties. 2 origins will be blended for my "house blend", a Brazil and a Tanzanian, then just a pound of a Kenyan to do as a single origin.
The Kenyan I have has been nice as cold brew, but I think it does lose a little of it's fruitiness brewed...

Today was a Dip 2 trying in vain to fix a pedal that got fried on stage this morning. At least it was a cheap one and I have a new one on the way.
For the longest time I was using a whirley popper on my stove roasting a pound at a time. I was getting really good results but grew tired of cranking the handle for 15 mins each roast session and converted a bread machine to a roaster with a heat gun and am getting even better roasts now.
It was a little grassy, but not as much as some candelas. The difference with mine is that I rolled it with a more robust filler blend since I'm not a big fan of mild cigars.
