2013's How many gal of homebrew in 2013

I've already brewed 6 gallons and February is round the corner. Lord help me!

    What are you drinking now?

I can get fresh young hefeweizen beer from Germany. Why can't I get "the legend" Pliny the Elder on the east coast? It's an IPA for ****ssake. Madness! :cross:

Anheuser Busch and their deceptive marketing

Just want to say that Budweiser is the most delicious beer, if you like that sort of thing, and turning down free beer that made by grandmaster brewers in super duper brewing systems is not logical. Even 1.5 ounces of it in a tiny plastic cup--it doesn't mean you are selling your soul with every...

Anheuser Busch and their deceptive marketing

Believe it. If it is so old for you, move on... and let others who feel passionately about this subject have their say.

    What are you drinking now?

Julius Echter Bavarian Hefeweizen absolutely "I would love to."

Anheuser Busch and their deceptive marketing

I just think it's ironic that the AB defenders jump in as a group to essentially claim that AB doesn't need defending. And after the fistful of good arguments is made (punched), this herd goes on to attack the snobby, ignorant, ill-willed perpetrator. Personally, I only like about 6 or so...

    Yeast surprise!

I was in fact so drunk that I accidentally poyshted in the drunk forum. The stars had aligned that night. Now to answer your second question I must first agree that I would choose not to consume anything with 'a wang' in it when presented with the option. Im not alone in this. In a 1999 study...

    Not So Hoppy

An IPA brewed five days ago? Whoa... your burning nostrils probably was a nasty hit of CO2. Come back in a week or so, get out a proper sample. Even then the aroma will be stronger than when it's done. Unless you dry hop.

    Yeast surprise!

I hadn't labeled my yeast containers back then. I would just remember them by detail like the color of the wort, etc. It worked great--or so I thought. One day, I was drinking an APA with (supposedly) WLP001. But the yeast was very WLP300 ish. Then it dawned on me... The babies might have been...

    So who's brewing this weekend?

I'm brewing a witbier again this time with spring water. I've been trying to avoid Wang that I've been getting with several wheat beers lately.

    Ruthless RYE

I bought some last night and I actually had very sappy and positive thoughts about SN. And I still do. SN really is awesome all around--the largest US brewery that puts out excellent american ale. They are an inspiration to me. I loved Celebration this year also, though.

I need all your help getting a job at a brewery!

Don't forget to tell them how much you love to drink beer when your olfactory senses and taste buds are most alert--the morning! Potential employers love to hear that almost as much as hiring people who are currently unemployed.

Smells like an old shoe and it tastes like heaven

No, but it sure smells like it! (Although, it tastes exquisite!)
