LOTS of hop matter in keg

Definitely gain the ability to cold crash, then consider a filter or screen in the kegging process. I have an internal screen in my fermenter to help with the hops that would clog my poppets.

    Anyone completely self sufficient?

I was, till I moved, and then moved back. Just kegged my first batch in a new space, and damn! I used crystal hops from 2015 and ****! Back to having better beer than shelf beer! I hate buying beer even if it is a some special release. Any home brewer can make just as good if not better beer...

    Splitting Brew Day???

I mash in at night then sparge and boil in the morning all the time. The catch is I have an eherms. I recirculate all night and maintain a constant temp without fluctuations. Only thing I have noticed is maybe dryer beers.

    Electric keggle system

Yes it is on the whole time. When I use my 3v set up all 3 vessels have reflectix jackets. I wouldn't worry about it unless using an open flame for you heat source. If that were the case I would remove it when the flame was on.

    New Anvil Bucket Fermentors

^I just did this with both of my chapman fermenters. If the hole is too small just use a bastard file to open it up until it fits perfectly.

    My current brew

My current brew a smash brew of 2 row and crystal hops.

    Electric keggle system

With a total of 3650 watts I can heat up fairly quick. It's about a half hour from 65 to 150 degrees. For me there isn't really anything I don't like about electric. No gas, no carbon monoxide, not as much heat coming off the rig, and if i want to heat my water the night before and let it...

    Electric keggle system

The only downside to electric is what is available where you brew. I knew while building that finding 220 was gonna be hit or miss as a renter, and that the panel for 220 was expensive. So with 2 elements I can run one on a $120 ink bird controller and just turn the other one on and off...

    Electric keggle system

I recently decided to go ebiab in my existing bk. I opted to go with a stainless mesh basket for my rig so that I don't deal with the bad scorching on the elements. If you have an element in the kettle already a rims tube seems redundant imo.

Anyone ever made bottles of beer for promotional purposes?

I gave everyone at work a bomber of beer last year, but I am not the boss. They loved it!

I currently use a chapman 7 gallon, and really have no issues with it. I just got a 1.5 tc bulkhead to fit into the top opening. The only things I am missing are yeast collection and pressure fermenting in my head. Chapmans go for about $100.

    Kettle with slightly conical bottom

I also have upside down sankes. Harbor freight has moving dollies for 8 bucks and with the TC fittings a 90 degree elbow and stainless pipe it fits so nicely.

Using the HLT HERMS to chill the wort

I do the same or similar to gks, but the ice i make with meatloaf trays in my freezer and or red solo cups frozen. I hadn't used my cfc for so long I sold it.

    Delta brewing systems ferm tank

Kinda just thinking I should spring for the cf5 or cf10 now. I can do 10 gal batches but mostly do 5. The cf10 can do both it says, so I don't see any reason not to go big.

I do like the idea of being able to get it into my ferm fridge too. If I could find a conical that would fit with tc fittings I'd be all over it.
