Wort chiller, water cooler bottle and propane burner

I've been thinking all day about getting the 8 gallon pot.At first,I was afraid of rendering my 5gal pot useless, but after watching the easy stove top partial mash tutorial,I no longer worry about that.

Wort chiller, water cooler bottle and propane burner

Some helpful reassurance.I read somewhere that full boils are much better for your wort than partials,so that's what I want to start doing.Apparently for that,I'll need a bigger pot (which are pricey).Ah,maybe later. Also,I didn't know that about the solution. Will keep that in mind, thanks!

Wort chiller, water cooler bottle and propane burner

Hello all,can I please get some opinions on: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002NZNJG2/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20 and http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000291GBQ/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20 as upgrades for a regular 20 qt pot?should I might as well go for a bigger pot?I don't really see...

Aventinus clone on top of yeast cake

Yeah, those are the reasons why I wanted to,but since I'm gonna spend the bucks on all those ingredients,I rather just try to wash the yeast for another time. Then profit :)

Aventinus clone on top of yeast cake

I'm pretty much giving up on this.Instead I'll just get new yeast and a starter.Perhaps I'll wash that one for next time....

Aventinus clone on top of yeast cake

Pretty straight forward.I'm ready to bottle my dunkelweiss and I'm thinking of brewing AHS' Aventinus clone (http://www.austinhomebrew.com/product_info.php?cPath=178_452_43_245&products_id=1572%29.) on top of the yeast cake. The yeast is white labs P380.Any comments?

    Advice on new equipment

I'll try looking for a glass carboy like that.Looks like it can be a convenient tool in the future, but for now,I'll get a better bottle(and the stopper posted earlier). Now I gotta choose an online store...

    Advice on new equipment

Thanks to all the replies. Now I'm set on the better bottle.I'm thinking on getting the 5 gal for bottling/secondary.Will it be better to get the 6 gal for primary to replace my bucket instead?

    Advice on new equipment

Before I start, let me just say I've read plenty of "better bottle vs. glass carboy" threads and "bucket permeability" ones as well,so I'm not just posting without searching. However,I still find all the info a bit disorienting and dull(even if I'm the dull one). Now,my question is,what would...

    Dunkelweizen primary

Hello.I have a Dunkelweizen in primary which I poured into the fermenter without filtering out the hop residues(I forgot to!). Now,I've read that a secondary is not necessary for the style, but I think it's a must in order to avoid having green sludge when it's ready to drink. My questions...
