    Whoops guess i filled the carboy to full. One of them the airlock & bung blew off. The other one is leaking all over. Boy i am anxious to find out what this is gonna taste like. I have to wait at least 2 mos before a Taste test. Then another few months after that before i can drink a bottle.

    Thanks for all the input. One more question. I was wanting to make 2 Batches but only have 6lbs of honey. Would cutting it down to 3lbs per batch have a big negative effect on alcohol content or anything else? Thanks again for all the input.

    Thanks to everyone for the help and advice. Using pantyhose as filter worked great. Any advise on what to top up with.? Can't find gooseberry juice. Prefer to not use water as to take away from body or flavor. Any advice appreciated.

    Pitched the yeast last night and expected to some activity in the bucket tonight but there is none. Should i add more energizer or yeast nutrient? Never done a wine from actual fruit before. Have only done from concentrate or kits. Any help is appreciated.

    I have decided to cold crash my rasp concentrate wine. Its been fermenting for about 1 month, second time around. My SG was about 1.02 or 1.03. How long should I keep it in the frig? Never done this before.
