sounds good i forgot to mention im extract brewing right now but i think i can convert this to extract

yeah this is the only big one i have planed but im using a liquid yeast starter of 1000 ml but im gonna do it so it makes a lot more yeast than normal

i bought all the stuff to make my second batch of beer but didnt think about aeration i was really thinking some good splashing and stirring would aerate it fine but now as im thinking about it i dont think it will be good enough what can i do to aerate it or will splashing be enough ?

well im about to make a high abv/ gravity beer are the chances higher. would it be a good idea to open it once or twice during fermentation to let the gas escape?

im new to brewing so how does this happen and will it happen with a bucket

any one else want to comment on this as to why it has fermented so quick

so after one week in the bottles i couldn't resist poping one open to check the progression so i did and guess what i see when i pour it in the glass...... carbed beer im talking bubbles coming from out of suspension ... it did have a fast ferment too this is weird why did it work this well the...

easy thing to do would have been to go buy a 12 pack at the store and drink it all (or get budwiser and poor it down the drain)cleanand sanitize those bottles then use them haha

the brewers best kits are only for 5 gallons if you make 6 youll have very watered down beer just follow the instructions they should tell you that i did 2.5 gallons in the boil then put that on top of almost 3 gallons when i put it in the fermenter ... you have to assume .3 or .4 gallons for...

i think its basically like champagne only being from the champagne region of france. which a brut can taste just like champagne to me. it just about the same with the lambics except i think there is no law(not sure if there is one for the champagne thing either)

ok so i have some grains at home that aren't cracked and i need to crack them obviously i don't have a mill, whats the best way to do this? im thinking put in a zip-lock bag a little at a time and use a rolling pin
