I am really interested to hear what Brewie will say about the last 5 weeks. As their consumer base, it would be in their best interests to keep us up to speed and happy. I think it was a buy out.....or new investors... just my thoughts.

RWM, Welcome to the community. Sorry to hear about your situation....that must really sting. Are you part of the Facebook group “Brewie Owners Group”? It is another excellent resource for company information and repair/diy walkthroughs. There are a few posts scattered on both forums that speak...

There are rumors that some people have the 3.1.3 beta.... Facebook group is trying to source it and provide a copy. I just re-connected my Brewie to the internet and it seems to be doing fine. It searched for updates (real fast progress bar) then the screen quickly reset and went to the...

Gardiner, One of the guys on the Facebook thread is uploading his 3.1.2 betas for both B20 and B+. He just wants to scrub his serial number and info from the upload first. I’ll be sure to post the files as soon as I get it.

Nate beat me to it. The SD card is on the front panel. If you check out the link on page 49 to the google drive, it has all the software you need to flash a card and install new versions. I am going to back up my 3.1.2 on two different cards so I will have them if anything goes wrong with the...

Isn’t that just as easy as swapping out the SD card with the latest version?

I was able to pull up the BeerSmith Brewie equipment profile. Beersmith and Brewie Beersmith, as a widely known digital tool for brewing is getting more and more popular among homebrewers. With its database, an infinite number of beer recipes can be remade, customized or designed from scrap...

Maybe they just couldn’t afford to renew the domain name and decided to scrap the entire company.

3.1.1 was the latest public version. 3.1.2 was the most recent beta release with way more features.

And that’s my primary concern with these units. If the software crashes, this becomes a paperweight. Hardware can always be swapped out and replaced.

Brian, what software version are you running? 3.1.1 had some issues with the screen. This was the response from Brewie last month regarding my screen taking forever to boot, and flashing white "The phenomenon you described is on the LCD screen is caused by the touch screen resetting itself...

I booted up last night to run a quick clean and started a recipe. No issues as of now. It might be a good idea to pull it offline though...... I didn't think about that.

I'm not sure if this was from earlier in the thread, but one of these guys fabricates mash baskets to replace Brewie bags. http://arborfab.com/Brewie_p_139.html

There shouldn’t be a problem uploading info. We are using this forum as a “catch all” for Brewie info.

I’m scratching my head because the big cost was already spent by Brewie...... R&D, coding, advertising, material/supply chain...... another company could swoop in and buy this for pennies on the dollar. I see it happen with banks and insurance companies all the time. I wonder how much capital it...

I bought mine through amazon and got one of the newest models. I checked with Brewie and they said my serial number has all the upgraded components. I’m just anxious for when things do go wrong and I have nowhere to go...
