My other hobby that I have been doing for years is flying RC helicopters and planes. I can't wait until spring to get back out there, winter blows!

Blind Dog Brewery I named mine after my Chocolate Lab who started to go blind a couple years ago. I also used him for duck hunting so the "blind" has a 2 meanings.

I'm hoping for a couple 15 gallon Blichmann kettles. We will see what happens.......

Brewed a American Amber ale yesterday. Have been thinking about doing a Stout on Friday also.

I have had mine for a few months now and it is great! Im not sure what took me so long to get one.

If your using a whirlpool type filter do you still have to boil the top off water that is added to the fermenter? Or will the filter take care of the unwanted bacteria?
