It will be beer, but for all the effort, I’d toss it, I’ve done at least 3 batches with old cans and it was a waste of time, it was drinkable but tasted weird,
Either go online and get a fresh can, bag , whatever…..
I ordered 9/7 and received it yesterday, no problem, good prices, quality grains. Maybe slow but I had 4 5gal batches fermenting, so I didn’t need to brew till now.I like them.
A decade ago I saw that some guys in So Cal would take a Ford Festiva with a standard transmission, remove the engine, bolt on a kit plate, install a starter motor for either a DC3 or DC 9 and some batteries and away you go, thought about it then, as well as a be golf rabbit or pu on bio fuel
Orig grain was 8 lbs 2 row oh 1.048 in 4.5 gal water sparged 1.5 gal in a anvil foundry 6.5,
BIAB on stove added grains and DME, aprox 5.5 gal, 45 min boil, 1/4 lb DME, no og as this is guerrilla brewing,5-6 Abv
Ok I read somewhere that in the UK that some brewers would brew another beer with the spent grain, so I tried it. After mashing for an ipa, I took the mash pipe out and put the spent grains in a kettle on the stove with a bag, BIAB.Now I’m brewing 5 electric and 5 Biab, I also added 1 lb grains...
I have brewed 3 batches with leftover coopers and muntons,Half of it was from someone getting out. For the time and effort put in, the beer came out terrible tasting, metallic taste.I should have just made a wish and thrown the can over my shoulder….into the trash.
Hi , as a previous renter, apartment and houses, one of the agreements on the paperwork stipulates that the landlord must pay one utility. Since gas and electric usually cost more, they take the water. So because of that they usually don’t allow washers that use more water that increases their cost.
