    need help

if you have a spray bottle around, maybe you could gas the keg up and spray it with some soapy water to track down where it's coming from

Can I JB weld a coupling to my keggle for a bulkhead?

you could always try harris stay brite silver solder too
  4. K

Picked up a keg for a keggle! but.....

just rest the guard of the angle grinder against the skirt of the keg and cut. then hit it with a flap disc to take the edge off so you don't cut yourself

    Drilling my keggle holes

did you have the plugs in there while welding or just checking the threads after the fact?

A CL brew system find in Oregon...

    Keg manifold - please critique

i don't have any suggestions, but i'm interested to know how it works on brew day. are you going to be using a pump? i've been fighting with various pickup tube/strainer designs for the past 4 sessions, ever since i got a pump, and every time it ends up getting clogged at some point

    Found: Source for Cooper's Fermenters...

Electricians: help me swap out an arc sensing circuit breaker

can't use a cordless right angle drill. at least not one that has any balls. and it was wired correctly, dedicated circuit with no outlets slaved off it. and it was one of those smartlock ones, which won't reset if they're wired incorrectly

Electricians: help me swap out an arc sensing circuit breaker

same here. i've been standing in water, using a drill and getting rapped off it, without the gfi tripping

Electricians: help me swap out an arc sensing circuit breaker

it's not unsafe(arc faults are a pretty new invention), but it's not up to code. if you want to do it, just put the white wire from the romex on the neutral bar, and put the black on the new breaker. obviously replacing the arc fault with the standard breaker

    Keggle over a fire?

old camper's trick: rub some dish soap over the bottom of the pot before putting it over the fire. it makes removing the soot much, much easier

    Hop Holder?

if i understand what you're doing, i don't think you'd be getting the full utilization. for example, are you removing the 60 min hops to put the 10 min addition in?
  16. K

This is how you know you've gone off the deep end

i'd only consider that the deep end because of the time involved and danger to the kegs by stacking them as such

    sourcing some QD's

i can't really tell, but do those shutoff when disconnected? for that matter, do the stainless disconnects from morebeer?

Cutting top off a Sanke keg using angle grinder

that's exactly what i've used to cut 2 kegs. worked great, just get a couple in case one breaks. also get a flap disc to knock down any edges for safety reasons

    Rusty Element

hit it with some bar keepers friend and a green scouring pad to repassivate it

Is this ebay march pump same as morebeer and NB?

yeah, this is a great deal. i got mine a day or two after paying for it. if you email the guy before he ships it, you can get the inline as opposed to the center inlet(unless he sold out by now)
