    1 gal would be 10-11 bottles. Not bad for playing around. Could be a good way of perfecting a recipe or just getting back in the groove.

    It's good to have a wife that supports your obsession. Mine actually bought me my first brew kit for Christmas. She's been telling me I need to start brewing again. Gotta keeper I do.

    I'm in taylorsville, would e interested in a brew club sometime. Couldn't host until some remodeling was finished, springish. Would love if someone with more experience taught a few brew sessions. I've been out of brewing for a year now and feel I almost need to learn it all over again.

    What's the smallest batch of beer you've made? I am contiplating trying smaller then average batch sizes this winter. The thought being to save cost and space and be able to have more attempts at recipe tweaking/variety. What's a good small batch size? 2, 3, 4 gallon?

    I heard a story on NPR this weekend by tye Morgan about an effort to brew with cheatgrass. Anyone heard of this? Anyone ever try cheatgrass beer?
