First label I've ever had made

I like it alot. The background isn't too busy for me and I think when it's printed and on the bottle it would be kinda subtle. The colors will look good on an amber bottle and it's very easy to read. Well done!

    Keggle bought on Ebay woes.

You can make a keggle in about an hour if you know what your doing. It's not as time intensive as you may think. What takes the most time is the polishing but if your more about functionality that doesn't matter. If you have the proper tools you can build one for under $100, including the keg...

    Cleaned Fermentor, smells like beer

Mine have a permanent scent of beer also. I don't mind though and sometimes my SWMBO finds me in the office/guest room/homebrew equipment storage room with the bucket on my head wafting the wonderful scent of beer.

My Stirplate... Cheap and Easy Build...

There was a post about this earlier in the thread (or maybe it was another stir plate thread). If you have a wire connected to the center post of the rheostat it will apparently cause this. You only need connections on the two outside posts.

How do you label your bottles?

Yes there's a program with templates that's available for use on their site which allows you to add text, colors, and images (this particular label is a little small for images though). Here's what mine look like. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic

Dremel Owners - corded vs cordless

I have the corded variable speed and I love it. I like certain things to be cordless but others need to be corded. More than likely whatever you are using the Dremel on will be small, portable, and/or near a wall socket. The corded provides more power and unlimited use without re-charging and is...

How do you label your bottles?

I use these http://www.onlinelabels.com/ol5275.htm on the caps. They're relatively cheap, easy to make, and look a little bit nicer than just sharpie or colored dots. Plus there's no need to de-label. Since they're on the cap it just gets thrown away. No scrubbing, scraping, or soaking

    Help grinding brutus 10!!!

An angle grinder with a larger diameter grinding wheel (7 inches) might be able to get into the gap a little better. The problem is that you can't just put a 7 inch wheel on a standard angle grinder. You'd need to find one that could accommodate a larger diameter

    Which logo?

I prefer the bottom one although I do agree that the script is a little hard to read. Maybe make it bold to thicken up the lines a bit? Also the fizzy beer in the background is a little distracting. Less is more

    Citra...where are you??

I just ordered a pound from "From grain to Glass" yesterday as well as some other varieties. http://www.graintoglasshomebrew.com/product_p/10108321.htm

    keg polish

I actually like the satin finish. The full polish also looks good but seems like it would be a PITA to keep up with

    Beer/brewing apps

I use BrewTimer for my brews... Takes a couple minutes to set up but is worth it in my opinion... Takes the guess work out of the whole process and prevents those screw-ups that we know never happen EDIT: When I say set-up you basically input the steps of your brewday (hop additions, when to...

    Blue Moon in cans.

Sorry to bump this thread but I live in Florida and you can find a variety of beers in cans that aren't available elsewhere because most (if not all) beaches prohibit any glass containers for safety reasons. I doubt it's because aluminum cans are greener.
