Original Fermenter Build

I use a similar stand. The burner is mounted on top, with propane tanks underneath. The left top piece slides out to hold my mash tun. The pump shown in the pic is mounted underneath now (old pic). The stand is pretty solid with a full kettle (+-7 gallons).

That looks like an absorption fridge - Like in an RV. The refrigerant is actually ammonia based. If it is it should be quiet as if I remember, the "compressor" is actually a heat coil that heats the ammonia. I've never soon a portable one before. That's kinda cool...

Built a keezer collar and put it the whole thing on wheels today. No more bottles!

I love IPA's/DIPA's, but have had some that taste like lemon Pledge. I love Stouts, but have had some that taste like the soot that comes out of the chimney when it gets cleaned. If I don't like it, I move on. Either way, it won't stop me from trying as many of 'em as I can!

Does this work the same with storing bottles? Can I keg, then bottle and store them for a period of time? Weeks? Months? It seems like most replies/comments I see are people that bottle from the keg to take someplace within a day or two...

I have 2 of the Chugger pumps that were purchased in September. Both pumps work great below 200 degrees. Once they get to near boiling temperature,Their performance diminishes greatly (flow reduces to a trickle if at all), or the magnets disconnect. If I stop the pump and wait for a minute or...

Damn... Should have waited a few more days. Picked mine up last weekend for $126. they had one that had a few scratches on it and offered it for 25% off.... Goof off removed the scratches and now it has 5 gallons of Caribou slobber fermenting in the garage!
