    How do YOU sparge?

BIAB full volume mash. No sparge.

    BIAB vs AG recipes

I agree with RM-MN, that's a lot of strike water. For example I'm planning tomorrows brew and it's 1.055 OG. I'll use 11 lbs. of grain and 7.4 gal of water. Will end up with 5.5 gal in the fermenter. .5 gal grain absorption, 1 gal boil off, .4 gal kettle loss.

    BIAB vs AG recipes

Same recipe works just fine. A 10 gallon kettle is perfect. I've easily done 5 gallon, full volume, no sparge 1.075 brews in mine.

    Dry Hopping with Pellets

Plenty of yeast will be there when you bottle.

    Dry Hopping with Pellets

I your bag is fine enough, they'll stay contained. Also make sure your bag is big enough, you'll be surprised how big they get. Or you can forget the bag and just throw the pellets into the fermenter.

blowoff tube instead of air lock?

About the only practical benefit I gain is when moving the fermenter out of my fermentation chamber. With an airlock, I can move it myself. With a blowoff setup, I need help from the wife to pick up the jar that the end up the tube in in.

blowoff tube instead of air lock?

I always start with a blowoff. Sometimes I'll switch to an airlock, sometimes I don't.

    No... just NO.

If you drink enough of these, will your poo sparkle? ;)

    Question about bulk grains

If this was in reference to my post, no I don't. All my grains come from morebeer. Never have to leave the house, on my porch two days later.

    Question about bulk grains

Till you realize that you want to brew something, but are missing one or two ingredients, so end up placing an order anyway. Or you end up with a bunch of odds and ends that never get used. I always keep ingredients on hand for at least one brew, just in case I can get a brew in unplanned...

    Question about bulk grains

I know, always hear about these dirt cheep prices on bulk grains that everyone gets. I've yet to find them locally, actually more expensive than online. But if you can, more power to you. Don't forget to factor in time and fuel into that price.

    Question about bulk grains

Buy what you are going to use. ;) I'm not a fan of buying bulk. Instead I'll plan out my next 3-6 brews, figure out what I need and make an order. I'd rather let morebeer do the storage than having to buy a bunch of bins to sit around and take up space. They have anything I need on my porch...

    S.S. Fermentor Question

SS Brewbucket. It has a coned shaped bottom, but I wouldn't call it a conical. If you have clearance problems with an airlock, just use a blowoff tube. Functions the same and can get you a couple inches.

Just bought used kegerator that needs some work

It's possible for beer to back up into a gas line and get stuff growing in them. Then your just blowing that right into your keg. For what they cost I'd replace everything, but to each their own.

Just bought used kegerator that needs some work

Replace all your lines including gas. Could be all kinds of nasties growing in there. I like these lines. https://www.morebeer.com/products/ultra-barrier-antimicrobial-pvc-free-tubing-316.html

    First NEIPA Question - Hops

I'd add at least a small bittering addition.

Another vote for back of collar. Out of sight and simple.
