    according to the fermentis site (http://www.fermentis.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/SFBWB06.pdf) this yeast up to 77F with banana flavors more pronounced above 73.4F

    I brewed a summer wheat with WB-06, fermented at 70 and still got lots of clove flavor. I wasnt too happy with the flavor so if I were you and want more banana make sure your up in the 74 range.

    What did you find under your tree?

    I got 2 boxes of different beer glasses, wort chiller, several different bottle openers, food scale, stir bar and flask, and a 175$ gift card for the LHBS (thinking 15gal kettle with ball lock)

    WLP007 Attenuation @ 44%!!!

    If I remember right from all my reading on here, white labs yeast viles do not have enough yeast cells for fermentation and a yeast starter is required to bring it up too the proper pitch amount. Im sure the pro's on this site can correct me if im wrong.

    after they soak in the oxiclean i also rinse and soak in star san which confuses my as to why there would be left over residue. Ill just wait and see how it turns out after a few more weeks. Only batch so far 10+ that has had this taste. If my future batches see it then ill start to troubleshoot

    well my vienna/centennial didnt turn out the way I wanted it (so far). 2 weeks primary at 60* (ambiant air temp) 4-5 days cold crash. 1 week bottle. I tasted right before cold crashing and tasted good, right before bottling still tasted good. Then I tried 1 bottle after a week in the bottle...

    Well. Im on the atwater pilsner. Definatly better than the other tome i tried it. Doesnt have the stale cardboard aftertaste. Nizzle thanks.for the advice.

    Starting with this one. Which i have never tried. Then onto an atwater pilsner, to see if i like it the second time around. Then a great lakes eliot Ness. Nizzle i hope your right and it.is a good beer and maybe i got a bad batch. Hopefully this pilsner wont have the stale aftertaste

    Yeah it turned out pretty good so far. I kept the IBU's at about 33. 1oz at 60 min and 1oz at 5. I ended up using 2 lbs light DME to boost the OG, as a late addition. This was a PM

    Yes two hearted is an all centennial beer. I just made an all vienna/centennial SMaSH. Last night after 10 days in primary took a reading, took a sample and threw it in the kegerator to cold crash....tasted great, pretty clear so far, great aroma and hop taste. I cant wait for the finished...
