I just got my hands on a GE 7.2 cubic foot chest freezer for 160 pretty much brand new. I test fitted the buckets today. I can fit 2 in there plus room on the hump.....let the temp controlling begin...:rockin::D:mug:

yea I was thinking the same thing. Im going to start buying in bulk at the beginning of next year once I get my containers all figured out and a storage/organization shelf lined up.

I scaled it down to a 3 gallon batch, added .5 carafa1 and 4 more lbs of maris otter....10.5 lbs all together and crystals are now at 16%
