    starting OG of 1.077 now its 1.014..is it safe to bottle?

    Bottle when you get a steady hydro reading for 3 days. So check it again tomorrow, and again on Wednesday. If they are all the same you know you're yeast are done and you are ok to bottle.

    Something new from Sam Adams?

    I had the Tasman Red last night, and I liked it. I thought it was pretty balanced. Nice malt in the front, and hop bitterness in the back end. It could use a little more hop flavor (instead of just the bitterness) though IMO.

    First brew in about a year.

    Everyone that has tried this so far has loved it. It's getting better and better every week. I will be brewing this again very soon before I run out.

    I'm alternating between my dark IPA, Big Sky - Moose Drool, and Rahr - Winter Warmer. Liking my dark IPA the best so far, but the girlfriend is enjoying the Moose Drool...I guess I'll be brewing a carmely brown in the future. :mug:

    Sorry about your loss. One of my friends passed away a few years back and I've always planned on brewing a beer for him. He was a huge movie geek and knew way too much about way too many movies. Anyways, I planned on incorporating film reels and the Dallas Cowboys star into the label somehow...
