    Show us your Kegerator

I don't keg, and I'm full of prescription pain meds for the moment, so feel free to ignore me. When I visit my daughter in Oklahoma City, I drive the old highways and back roads. When she visits me in Arkansas, she drives the Interstate. We both get where we are going and are happy with the...

I don't discount the value of good plumbing. Sewers and clean water save more lives than doctors, IMO. It's the bookkeeping aspect that doesn't make sense.

How does the plumbing maintenance account affect health insurance premiums? I think this is a silly joke. Then again, I drive a Jeep built by these people. Their collective mind was definitely on something other than building cars.

Dreads are funny, whoever wears them. Didn't Eddie Murphy refer to them as 's**tlocks' in one of his movies?

This is why I only watch broadcast tv. It takes a couple of minutes to check 14 channels and see that there is bugger all on. 200 channels would waste too much time.

This doesn't disturb me as much as the fact that coaches and testing officials were open to taking the bribes. Much worse in my opinion, they were in positions of trust.

Boil kettle condenser - no overhead ventilation needed

I leave the lid off until boiling begins. Then adjust the power for a gentle boil, cover, and start the steam slayer. Barring an electronic control failure, a boil-over just isn't going to happen.

Boil kettle condenser - no overhead ventilation needed

I'm so accustomed to noisy work spaces I didn't even consider the sound level. Since one of my goals in going electric is to get rid of the burner noise, I feel really stupid right now. Thanks, Bobby! [emoji53]

Boil kettle condenser - no overhead ventilation needed

My local climate is just as you describe. I've always enjoyed brewing outdoors in the spring and fall, but it's often pure misery in summer and winter. That's why I'd like to have both options available. If I could only choose one, it would be the condenser, since it is good regardless of...

Boil kettle condenser - no overhead ventilation needed

If I were starting with a clean sheet of paper, I'd provide for both. I don't see a down side to good ventilation, the issues come with trying to retrofit it. The plumbing for the steam slayer is minimal, so why not? I'm trying to squeeze a brewery into my too-small laundry room, so I'm...

Boil kettle condenser - no overhead ventilation needed

Certainly you could make it work. Would it have any advantage over the steam slayer? Just off the top of my head, I'd say no. My experience is limited to steam propulsion plants on board ship. Lots of auxiliary machinery required to support the condenser systems. Steam air ejector to...
