I'm still relatively new to brewing and am afraid to experiment. I did brew a Vienna Lager that the instructions said it was OK to ferment like an ale.
Hey there you beer brewing gurus,
I don't have enough refrigerator space to lager my beer, so does it hurt to brew a lager as an ale? What are the ramifications of doing this?
This is Fitzroy (my good luck Gnome) checking out what we were going to brew that day. We brewed two Summer Ales. One from a kit and another Summer Ale that was brewed from an all grain recipe.
These are pics from a brew class I attended at North Court Beverage in Medina Ohio. The 2 best parts was that it was all free and I got to sample about 10 different beers from the 3 instructors and some of the attendees!
Well yesterday I made my first Hard Lemonade. Here is the recipe I used. Thanks Lorena (Yooper), britishbloke, and rod for the great post you made years ago.
Ingredients:
4 lbs of Corn Sugar
1 lb Dry Malt Extract (to make it a malt beverage like Mike does)
10 12 oz Cans of Minute Maid...
I'll take them so I can sell them to the Beer Museum for twice that. Not! Since I have both and a 6 pack of Billy Beer (5 unopened) and a full 6 pack of Mash 407, I'll pass.
