    Sanke Coupler Foaming Issues

I've got that same sanke coupler and have the same problems. I ended up turning down the co2 pressure to about 10 from 14 and that made a big difference. I had an amber ale and now a lager currently with the tap. I've completely disassembled the coupler looking for a chewed up oring and couldn't...

Help solve my brown ale mystery!

So a while ago, I had bought an extra pack of Wyeast 1098 for a porter brew just in case (turned out amazing BTW). I looked around and figured I could make a brown ale with the extra packet. I had bought 11lbs of Maris Otter, 1lb roasted barley, and 1lb chocolate malt. Hops are 2oz Liberty, 1oz...

    Keezer Lesson Learned...

Those ITW Gov regs are a neat idea. I think I'd like to have control over each line with secondary regs with gauges though.. if only they were a little more reasonable priced.

    Duofiller?

The commercial canning lines I've seen in person are all open, just with heavy amounts of CO2 before they are filled. Seems to work out ok, I've never had an oxidized beer from any of them. Just fill them to the top and make sure to cap on foam and I don't see any real problems. 🤷‍♂️

    Cleaning questions

I've got Intertap faucets with those black condom covers. Mine too popped off for no reason before, but I started doing as @Tom R mentioned by squishing them a little and shoving on to the base of where the spout tip meets the faucet body and haven't had one pop off since.

    Show Us Your Label

So last year I bought a bunch of stuff from a guy moving out of state. In the truck bed load of goodies, he gave me cases of swing-top bottles. A bunch of them had his label.. and they were like a vinyl cling type label? I thought that was the coolest thing! No mess to deal with scraping off...

    Cheap drip trays

I ordered one of these a while ago to make a hanging drip tray with pipe off the collar of my keezer. It's nice quality and a heck of a good price compared to other websites! Haven't had the chance to make it yet though..

Brewing Before work.. what did it cost me?

that's a bummer they don't just sell the hydrometer by itself because it looks really nice. I've had bad experiences with glass grad. cylinders like that.. I only use plastic now with a nice scar across my forearm for my reason 😓

ugh, found an earwig in my mug

I've got a repetition down for mine since the keezer is in the garage and there are earwigs all over out here. After every pour, I have Starsan in a spray bottle that I shoot a few pumps up into the spout to clear out the beer, shoot some on the outside of the faucet, wipe it down real quick...

    Grainfather Conical Fermenter Owners Thread

I ended up using a TC plug with an mfl/gas ball lock on it for mine too. After the fermentation is done and I am dropping a dry hop bag in, I'll take the air lock and plug out and put that on. Just make sure to not go over 1-2psi when doing that! Then after the hops have done their thing, set it...

    Grainfather Conical Fermenter Owners Thread

Mine's done this a few times now too. The only solution I could figure was just power cycling the conical a few times. @Advance mentioned that a while back in the thread too. Seems weird.. almost like there's some power save function that is getting tripped on.

Intertap return springs on standard shanks???

Ha! That's pretty, crafty.. I like! I use the springs on my three taps as well (with Intertap shanks). I did compare shanks and they all seemed to be about the same besides branding honestly. I got them because Intertap labeled them as only working with their own parts.. didn't know any better...

    Bench Capper

https://www.morebeer.com/products/colt-strong-high-pressure-bench-bottle-capper.html Another owner of one of these too. It works well and is very sturdy. I'm actually trying to sell it because I started kegging and just use swing top bottles if I am giving some away... if you're interested? It...
