I've brewed some hoppy IPAs with my Anvil using their pump and never clogged it. Make sure you either use a brew bag or the malt pipe so you aren't pumping all the stuff through, or minimize it as much as you can. I have a brew bag inside the malt pipe and never had a stuck sparge or clog.

So I went down this path and got Blichmanns nice pump. Come to find out, the spout out of the Foundry's ID is too small to supply what these more powerful pumps need for intake. My pump cavitates and I'm constantly having to mess with it to keep the whirlpool going. The little pump Anvil sells...

Are we talking friction damage?

The bonnet nut on top is what controls the resistance on that spring.. it took me a few times to figure it out with mine after I put them in service. I'll tighten it until it just starts to effect the return of the shuttle. *I bought intertap shanks as they are more recessed for the spring* As...

I picked up a huge whisk from amazon I think. It measured something like 30" long. It's been the perfect thing to use in my Anvil 10.5 and getting all the way down there to the bottom to break up the dough balls :drunk:

I started doing this as well and never had an issue with the hand held/wing cappers. I also picked up a bench capper.. either way I haven't had a issue with cap seals anymore. The wing style with crimping, rotating, crimping, rotating 4 times total would leave a little indentation on the cap...

UPS is definitely the most reliable shipping company in my area, followed by DHL and 3rd being USPS.

I live about an hour from their warehouse in CA. I have no issues with MoreBeer at all and pretty much order exclusively from them. The issue I have is that they use FedEx. That company is the very bane of my existence. If the order is big enough, I'm better off just picking it up in person...

It should serve you well! Mine is still running strong. I plug it in maybe every other month or so to dry it out. Humidity is pretty low over here in CA, so it isn't working as hard as in other areas of the country.

I use the EvaDry 300 like @day_trippr has pictured. Has kept my keezer dry for the last two years now. It's a plug in unit to self-heat and dries itself out as well. They're pretty cheap on Amazon, I think 30 bucks?
