Has anyone used the liquid bottle version of BKF? I was only able to find that at a hardware store, no powder can.

One other thing I know I have not done was passivate the conical. I didn't even think about that part.

So when I had started to cold crash, I would swap out the bubbler bung for a TC cap with a ball lock and run CO2 at 1-2 psi. I can see the lines not being O2 flushed causing issues.. not real sure on how to fix that part from conical to keg.

I thought it was just in the lines, but the keg is oxidized. I poured probably 8 pints out of it and it's been the same.

Eva barrier for both inside, but I'm guessing poly outside because of getting bumped and causing leaks

I will jump on this, because I've been having oxidation issues as well. It's happened every time I've kegged a non-dark beer now.. so the last 4 times I've kegged I guess? Last beer I made was in June and it was MoreBeer's German Hefeweizen. I haven't pulled a draft off the keg for about a month...

@RyPA I'd get ahold of Anvil/Blichmann for a warranty claim, that shouldn't be happening.

I've had boil overs that soaked mine pretty well, but never had it affect the display or cause issues. It has left some moisture under the clear overlay and still kept working. Mine is the first gen with the screen down low on the tube. @RyPA how old is yours? I wonder if they might provide some...

Keg it, put it in the cooler for a few days to get it down to serving temp., then put on co2 and leave it at your preferred psi per vol. setting and let it go for a week or so. Bada-bing, drink and dream :thumbsup:

So I brewed a hefeweisen this afternoon. I haven't used the conical in close to a year now. It shows being connected to wifi and the app has a green light for being active, however it's not showing or allowing me to adjust the temperature from the app. Has anyone had this issue?

@OKCAg2002 Have you had a chance to try this out yet? I'm curious how well it works out being these tanks cant handle much pressure.

@kaffeenjunkie did you squeeze the bag at all? I have been with my BIAB just trying to squeeze every bit out of it, but the reality is it leaves more muck in the kettle to have to be siphoned around. Not entirely sure it really helps anything 🤷‍♂️
