My wife "doesn't really like beer" but she does like Milds. She likes beers that "taste like bread." I take that to mean more malt than hop. She kinda likes some of the wheats and even some Belgians, but it's hit or miss.

I live in Des Moines and we get decent TG distro, here. They've just fired up their new brewery and are canning, so that should help things a lot. The old canning setup was contract brewed in Florida, and that beer was bad. Ok, not "bad" but not as good as it should be. Kinda turned me off...

I could see average IQ being up. I mean look at the progress of mankind in this century alone. Though I don't believe every person's IQ is higher. I see this more as a "rich get richer and poor get poorer" type of phenomenon. ;)

Most of us who aren't watching the NFL because of that don't think it should be illegal for the players to be protesting. Or I hope not, because that would be tremendously hypocritical. We just are choosing to spend our time doing other things. In all fairness, I've never watched much NFL...

How longs it been? I haven't bottled in many years now, but it seems like if my beer was flat, I usually hadn't waited long enough.

I saw this in the store the other day. I hate how AB/Inbev mock the "craft brewers" in their media but then buy craft breweries and emulate them with their own stuff. Screw 'em.
