Brewing a RIS loosely based on KBS. Just milled the grain. Will do an extended mash tonight and finish it Saturday morning.

Made the starter for the Sawyer. Bought a nice bar of chocolate to put into the beer.

I BIAB 2.5 gallon batches. I wrap it up in a 0° sleeping bag. My husband does 5 gallon BIAB and also uses the 0° sleeping bag. Neither of us have had any issues with losing more than a couple of degrees in an hour.

Came home after 4 unexpected extra hours of work, heated up the water, added the grain, and tucked it in for an extended mash. Will wake up later today to finish.

If you have a Whole Foods near you, they have frozen whole cranberries. My husband found them about 2 weeks ago for my cranberry wheat beer.
