I leave mine hooked up to my bar sink and as soon as I'm done pouring my beer, I rinse the bottle and place on my drying rack. When dry I place upside down in a cardboard 12 pack and in my cabinet till I'm ready to sanitize and bottle.

Made four jars. The brine I made only filled two though, oh well, just made another batch up real quick. Processing them now. Look an smell pretty good.

Sounds like a good fermentation to me. The stuff at the bottom is called trub, it's all the yeast and other stuff that has settled to the bottom. You don't always see krausen (foamy stuff) on top or adhered to the side. Depends in the yeast and how active fermentation was. Give it a try, bet...

First off, IMMEDIATELY go uncap that bottle and dump it!! Second, the rest should be ok as long as you sanitized. Look into a blow off tube to prevent that from happening in the future. Easy to do, prevents messes spilling over. I've had a bunch do that, and finally broke down to get a blowoff...

You don't HAVE to, but it is usually recommended to transfer to a secondary. Do whatever works best for you an your setup, dry hopping in primary is better than no dry hopping!
