I wasn't judging it against the IPA. I was simply letting people know that my opinion may be skewed because I prefer ipa's. That is all. I am happy macros are trying, just still batch 19 is not my thing. Nothing against anyone who does like it or any other style or beer I don't like.

How drastic is the carb levels for different styles? I brew all kinds of stuff, really whatever strikes my mood at that time. Is it worth it for me to get and way to regulate kegs differently? Which styles are way off from others?

Brown bottles help prevent the risk of skunky beer from UV light. If your beer is protected at all times and never exposed to UV light even from indoor lighting, then no big deal at all. Use what you got!

Brewed the brewer's best Scottish ale and tried some tonight after 4weeks in the bottle. Holy smokes that's a good beer and crystal clear! It's a great middle of the road tasty beer. Perfect crowd pleaser and general all around beer. Good smooth flavor. I will definitely be brewing this one...

Tried another side by side tonight. Color is close, clone obviously darker but not terrible Smell: clone has a stronger hop smell Taste: ruination is smoother but clone has stronger hops taste. Probably why it's not quite as smooth. Still very happy and impressed. Could be tweaked a little...
