I do have enough T-Slot to make the 18" x 20" table separate but I like the stability of having it one piece. You can see that in the frame design picture I posted the top back T-Slot is 72" long to tie both sides together.

I picked up a Vortex S-600, works good and is not very loud. I did get the speed control with it.

I did 2 batches today and the hood worked well. Once I build my brew stand I may lower it some, I have 8-1/2' ceilings in the basement.

I am sorry if I am posting a repeat question. I did search and did not find anything.. I was thinking about picking up a grow light hood and using it for a vent over the brew pot. I have a nice 340cfm 6" inline fan and I like the grow light hood cause it have a nice 6" duct hole on the end...

I have use L-1118, Cider House cider yeast, S-04 and US-05. US-05 is the one I like and us the most.

I have 5 gallons in my primary. 5 gallons on Vanilla Bourbon Cider and 5 gallons of Blueberry Bourbon Cider in my kegs

I like to use 1lb of brown sugar, it bumps the ABV and adds a nice flavor. The cider I make is on the drier side using ale yeast.
