    I do have enough T-Slot to make the 18" x 20" table separate but I like the stability of having it one piece. You can see that in the frame design picture I posted the top back T-Slot is 72" long to tie both sides together.

    I did 2 batches today and the hood worked well. Once I build my brew stand I may lower it some, I have 8-1/2' ceilings in the basement.

    Best type of sugar to add during fermentation for flavour

    I like to use 1lb of brown sugar, it bumps the ABV and adds a nice flavor. The cider I make is on the drier side using ale yeast.
