    Show me your grain storage

    Finally found some nice containers to store my specialty grain. I just need to move some shelves around to fit things better. These have the airtight lids, I have 5 galybuckets with Gamma lids for base grains.

    Did you change that existing valve with a ball valve? I am looking to do the same think but it looks like the hole is to small.

    I did try searching and was not able to find any information on getting a replacement lid for my Mash and Boil. I didn't want to cut my original lid but I want to find a replacement lid that I can cut 2 holes in for use during mashing. 1 hole will be for my sparge arm that I use to recirculate...

    Mash and Boil GFCI Requirement

    Make sure if you use an extension cord to get a good 12 gauge cord. My basement outlets are in the ceiling so I needed a cord. I found some nice HD 12 gauge cord 10' long that work great.

    How many gallons of cider 2019?

    Made 14 gallons of my base cider. Will be split into 3 batches.. Citra Hopped Cider, Blueberry Bourbon Cider and ?? TBD Cider. 48+14 = 62 gallons

    What I did for beer today

    Friday picked up an Evill Twin Grain Mill and 70lbs of grain. Then yesterday I made a Irish Red Ale and 14 gallons of Apple Cider. I am making a Nut Brown right now and a Sweet Milk Stout when I finish with the brown.

    Show me your grain storage

    I second the buckets with Gamma lids, I got 6 Gamma lids delivered today. Need to get a few more buckets to put them on. Then tomorrow I am going to my LHBS to get 2 55lb bags of grain and 6-8 specialty grains 1lb to 3lb of each.

    How much grain will fit in the quart or gallon sized ziploc bag? I am picking up 8 types of grain this week 1 lb to 3 lb and wanted to know what size bags to bring. Sorry I know this is an older thread but I could not find an answer
