    I tend to name mine after metal albums and songs. Some of the recent ones: Blonde, Bagged, and Boarded (blonde ale, Goblin Cock album) A-Rye-Z (rye pale ale, sepultura album) Eerie Green Light (IPA, Type O Negative song) Bound, Gagged, and Blondefolded (blonde ale, Skinlab album) A-Rye-Z Again...

    Love the input shaft tap handle! I have a bunch of spare / broken / damaged transaxle parts laying around, I may consider doing the same!

    No it wouldn't. The PID (or whatever you're using for temperature control) would bring it up to your set temp, and then maintain it there.

    No big deal. I've done this enough to know better, but i didn't put it together that the orange blossom water imparts no flavor, only aroma until after I'd already added it to the kettle. I ended up with an obscene amount of zest and juice from the jumbo navel oranges I used, so I figure...

    I whipped up a batch of this Friday night. Smelled great! I do wonder, though; why such an early addition on the orange blossom water? It seems to me that most of the aromatics would boil off. I couldn't detect much bitter orange bloom scent on the wort at the end of the boil.

    I just finished reading all 87 pages of this thread (and this is my first post), but I just wanted to share that I haven't had anyone ask me these silly questions. All of my friends and family enjoy the beer I make, even if it isn't their preferred style. At the worst, they'll drink it...
